Congratulations to our new Mayor, Faith Boyd!

In November 2022, the search was on to find our new Mayor of KidZania London for 2023!

The position of Mayor is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that inspires people to try new things and boosts their self-esteem.

Drum roll please...introducing the new Mayor of KidZania London, FAITH! 

Faith at the age of 9 is the youngest magazine editor in the UK. She started a magazine in 2020 Pandemic lockdown to inspire children like her who do not often see themselves in magazines. 

Cocoa magazines are the UK's first black children's magazine, and are now sold in all/main retail outlets throughout the UK and can also be found in the bug club school library.

As Mayor it is important that everyone gets to know you! We can't wait for Faith to get into the city and start her Mayor duties, but for now we thought we'd share some of her interests...

English, I love writing.

Who/what do you want to be when you grow up?

I would like to be a gamer.

What is your favourite hobby/hobbies?

I love coding games, baking, playing with my brother and singing.

Some interesting facts about Faith: Faith loves to read and write stories, has two pet gerbils called Sweetie and Cottontail, trains once a week with her athletics club, and is passionate about helping homeless people.
