Book of the Month JUNE

June 2018 welcomed the exciting launch of our Book of the Month series in partnership with our good friends at Little Tiger! Earlier in the year, we enjoyed our World Book Day fun with Little Tiger so much, that we were thrilled to continue the book-themed activities and bring more brilliant books and interactive book workshops to the city! 

On June 16th, we kicked things off with our 1st Book of the Month with Spynosaur Author, Guy Bass! Kids had lots of fun with Guy in the KidZania National Library, learning how to be secret agents like Spynosaur!

Book of the Month JULY

Our 2nd Book of the Month celebrated Little Tiger's Top 4 Picture Books for Under 4s! With guests from Little Tiger in the city, we put on a series of cool arts and crafts activities for families to enjoy together in the Library. 

Kids learnt how to make their own 3D dragons with Author-Illustrator of 'Look Out It's A Dragon', Jonny Lambert and creators of 'Octopants', Suzy Senior & Claire Powell asked for help designing underpants for their underwater Octopus friend!

Book of the Month AUGUST

Holly Webb, author of the sparkling new series 'Shine', hosted our August Book of the Month event! Kids that visited the Library on the day, got involved in creative craft activities - designing awesome tutus for Chloe from the book series and even had a go at writing their own stories and characters! 

Book of the Month SEPTEMBER

Gareth P. Jones, author of 'Pet Defenders', hosted cool alien workshops - where kids learnt all about Gareth's books and helped him create disgusting new aliens!

Book of the Month OCTOBER

Author Karen McCombie joined us for October's Book of the Month! Kids had lots of fun learning about Karen's book, 'St Grizzle's School for Girls, Gremlins and Pesky Guests' and had a go at designing their own madcap schools!
